INSTRUCTOR
Paul
Vargas has over 20 years of surfing
experience and over seven years of teaching and coaching students. Through
the years, he has gained international and local surfing knowledge by
surfing competition and traveling the world pursuing his passion for being
a part of the ocean and riding waves.
During
this time, Paul attended South University and pursed a degree in Physical
Therapy (P.T.A). His current endeavors lead Paul to Australia where he
has been teaching with Surfing Australia (an internationally recognized
Surfing Association for surfing coaches), working with children from the
beginner level to competitively coaching students in a magical surfing
spot in N.S.W. Byron Bay.
Surfing
has inspired Paul to travel the world and surf at dream locations including
Abacco, Eleuthera, Walkers Key Bahamas, Barbados, Puerto Rico, Oahu, Kaui,
Maui, Caribbean side of Colombia, Costa Rica, Western Australia, Rottness
Island, Bali, Sumbawa, South Africa (Jefferyís Bay), and the east coast
of Australia.
Currently,
Paul is enthusiastically incorporating all of his local and international
surf coaching experience to create Aloha Surfing School. It is our goal
to help our students enjoy life by reaching personal potential through
the challenge of surfing and the joy of being a part of the ocean. |
