Born in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida, Paul Vargas is an accomplished surfer both locally and internationally. His commitment to the sport lead him to work with organizations such as Surfing Australia, coaching numerous rising competitive surfers.

Paul's passion evolved from a young age when his older brother, Randy taught him the sport of surfing. His brothers love for the sport inspired Paul's passion for surfing which he wanted to pay it forward and influence others .Ultimately, this inspiration led him to establish Aloha Surf Camp in 2002.

Paul's vision for Aloha Surf Camp is to help each student reach their highest level of self confidence by creating an outlet for children to actively express themselves in a safe, healthy environment. His personal goal for each student is to stimulate self-confidence through the development of surfing skills, and instill in them respect for the ocean.

It is Pauls philosophy to teach, motivate, inspire, and give back to the community. He ingrains these principles in his Aloha Surf Camp teaching model. Aloha's instructors throughout the years have volunteered with Aloha Surf Camp for community organizations such as The Make a Wish Foundation, Surfers for Autism, OneBlood Donation, and Friends of Jupiter Beach Clean Ups.

Professionally, Paul holds a degree in Physical Therapy, P.T.A., and during his time away from Aloha, works with professional rehab services & Jupiter Medical Center treating patients with degenerative diseases, injuries, and musculoskeletal disorders. In his spare time, Paul enjoys spending time with his cat Kona, writing music, playing guitar, exercising and of course, surfing.

"It is my personal ambition to instill confidence in each child through Aloha Surf Camp. I want our experience to motivate children to actively express themselves in a safe and healthy environment while teaching them respect for the ocean, athleticism, and surfing skills that will continuously bless their lives and the lives of others."
