Surf & Water Trampoline

LOCATION, HOURS, AGES:

 Aloha Surf and Water Trampoline Camp is located in "Loggerhead Park"Juno Beach, Florida.  Behind the MARINE LIFE CENTER .     

Students will be in a healthy environment where participation and exercising is a standard. 

Monday through Friday from 9:00AM to 2:30PM with the option of early drop off at 8:00AM  and after care -3pm .  Both options are free. ( After care til 4 is also available only if you inquire within and confirm. ($ 35 after care fee til 4 pm 

14200 U.S. HWY 1   Juno Beach 33408 .    We meet in the beachside pavillions, make a slight left  when entering Loggerhead  Park, you will drive around the side of the yellow building (Marine Life Center) and park in the beach parking lot. We meet at the pavillion directly next to the playground.

Students 12 and up can attend our "Teen camp program."

Surfing:  All students will learn how to surf; including learning surfboard anatomy, how to properly stand in proper surf stance, how to  catch their own waves & paddle, how to turn, ocean saftey, put on a surfboard leash, how to choose proper equipment  and yes, all students will be catching waves on their first day of camp! ( waves permitted )

Shallow Water :   We teach begining surfers in shallow water!  This helps learn to surf students to stand in the water to assist them with catching waves and getting back out to their starting point. Throughout the week, we will also be teaching ocean safety where students will learn;how to identify lifeguard flags, understand rip currents, and how to safely choose a correct surfing location.

Water Trampolines and Splashmats:  Each day of camp depending on conditions we also set up water trampolines and splashmats for all campers!

All kids have the opportunity to enjoy themselves on the trampolines with their friends. We like to have a balance of activities throughout the day for everyone. For the kids who want to surf all day, the option is there's daily, they can surf for a few hours, then check into the trampoline station. Or vice versa, if the waves go flat and we have covered all of surfings fundamentals, the kids will have a blast on the trampoline set ups and the awesome splashmats that the kids can have fun on!

ACTIVITIES:   Each day depending on ocean conditions, students will have the option of participating in a variety of  activities including :surfing, bodyboarding,sharktooth hunting, snorkeling, dodgeball, swimming,  jumping on the water trampolines, and splashmats all day long! 

     SAFETY   :    As part of our commitment to safety, all camps are located adjacent to life guarded beach areas. Aloha Water Sports Camp instructors are experienced, rigorously trained, and required to pass a swim and safety course. In addition to fitness, health, and safety coaching, all staff members are CPR certified. This provides students with the personal attention to ensure a safe and fun experience. Aloha rashguards for sun and skin protection are available for purchase.

Requirements

• All students MUST know how to swim
• Bring lunch, snacks, fluids and flip flops
• Sun block is mandatory. Parents please look at the active indgredient in your sunblock of choice. Make sure zinc oxide or titanium oxide is an active ingedient with at least 15-20% active ingredient.(Don't be mislead by major brands and spf's of 70 or 100. students need a barrier from the sun. No spf will be as effective. 
• We do sell zinc oxide sunblock at camp if needed. 

Cost            

• Weekly rate:                 $300 per student and $15 off siblings
• Daily rate:                    $70 per day 
• Free ! Early drop off (8am):   Free ! afternoon pick up ( 2:30 -3 )pm Free!
